Shipping Information

Standard Shipping:
FREE SHIPPING for most orders $75.00 or more!

Care Medical Source will pay for standard ground shipping on orders $75.00 or more in the contiguous United States. For all orders less than $75.00 a flat rate of $8.00 will be charged for shipping. Our default shipping method is United Parcel Service (UPS). Alternate shipping carriers may be available upon request.

Most packages should be delivered within 3-5 business days of processing your order. However, some exceptions do apply. These exceptions include all back-ordered items and larger items such as scooters, handcycles, standard and customized wheelchairs, lift chairs, power wheelchairs, and ultra lightweight wheelchairs. When these items are ordered we will let you know an approximate date of delivery.

For shipping to non-contiguous United States and territories, we will research shipping costs to find you the most affordable and efficient shipping method. These rates will vary depending on the destination, freight carrier, and shipping weight of the package(s). You will then be contacted with the shipping cost. Once you agree to pay the shipping cost your order will be processed and prepared for shipment. Most shipments that fall into this category can take anywhere from 3-10 business days to be delivered.

Free Shipping Exceptions:
Product pages displaying Free Shipping Exception means that the product is a heavier item or ships in an oversized box.  These items will not qualify for free shipping and will require additional shipping charges.  When this is the case we will E-mail you with the shipping cost.  The shipping cost will be based off the weight, shipping dimensions of the item(s), and your zip code.  Once you agree to pay the shipping cost your order will be processed and prepared for shipment.

Expedited Shipping:
Care Medical Source offers the choice to expedite the shipping of your package. This option is offered at an additional charge. If you would like your package to have expedited shipping please check the "Contact Me About Expedited Shipping" box at check out. These shipping rates vary depending on the destination and shipping weight and size of the package(s).  We will email you with your expedited shipping options and their costs. Once you agree to pay the shipping cost your order will be processed and prepared for shipment.

International Shipping:

Use the following form if you would like to receive an International Shipping Quote before placing an order online:
International & Wholesale Quote Form

For most orders outside of the United States payment should be made by bank Wire Transfer. Due to the increasing number of fraud cases we prefer international orders to be paid for by this method instead of credit cards issued by banks outside of the United States. If you are placing an international order online you may try to run your credit card through our automated payment system.  In most cases the charge is not able to be captured successfully and your credit card will decline the charge.  Please select "Contact me with my International Shipping Quote" when attempting to place an order online.   If the charge is successfully captured we will then research shipping costs to find you the most affordable and efficient shipping method. These rates will vary depending on the destination, freight carrier, and shipping weight of the package(s). We will email you with the shipping cost. Once you agree to pay the shipping cost your order will be processed and prepared for shipment.

*We do apologize but due to recent issues with successfully shipping to certain countries we are unable to ship to the following countries:  Mexico and Nigeria

Shipping Insurance:
Most packages shipped by UPS are automatically insured. Items shipped by USPS Priority Mail can be insured at an extra charge. If you wish to insure your package, please contact us and we will give you the cost for insurance. In the event a package is lost or damaged when being shipped by USPS Priority mail, Care Medical Source cannot be held responsible for the replacement value.

Freight Damage:
Sometimes items are damaged during shipping. When you receive your item take a moment to inspect the carton or packaging. If it is obviously damaged write this down on the freight bill or carriers registry at the time of delivery. This is important because if the damage is not adequately described the freight carrier may refuse to honor a claim. Another way to ensure that a claim is honored is to check your package within 10 business days of delivery to make sure the inside contents were not damaged during shipment. Sometimes the package looks fine but when you open the package you find the item is damaged. This is called concealed damage. In any case contact us at once. We will be happy to help you with a replacement item and with the freight damage claim.

Shipment Tracking:
Most packages will have a shipment tracking number. If you have placed your order online, this number can be viewed by logging in on the Returning Customer Log-in screen. If not, feel free to call us toll-free at 1-800-443-7091 and one of our customer service representatives will be happy to provide you with tracking details.

Pride Mobility Product Shipping:

Free Home Delivery for Pride Mobility Lift Chairs includes standard freight delivery of your new lift chair to the door (ground-level only). The freight company will call you directly to schedule a convenient time for delivery.

Please Note: If there are any steps leading to your door the trucking company will deliver the lift chair curbside. Free Home Delivery does not include set up or removal of packing materials. For these features, please consider White Glove Delivery.

Inside Delivery
is an upgraded delivery option for Pride Lift Chairs.  Your chair will be delivered by a freight carrier and brought inside your home (ground-level only). The carrier will call you directly to schedule a convenient time for delivery.

Please note: The freight carrier cannot carry your lift chair up any stairs nor will they unpack the lift chair to fit through doors. To ensure that Inside Delivery is an option for you, please measure the door to your home (ground-level) to ensure that it is at least 36” wide (the standard width of the box). If your doorway is not large enough to accomodate a box of this size, please consider White Glove Delivery.

White Glove Delivery is a premium delivery option that provides added convenience and peace of mind. With White Glove Delivery, your new lift chair is shipped to a trained agent in your area where it is inspected for damage and tested thoroughly. The local agent then calls you directly to schedule a convenient delivery time.

At the scheduled time, your new lift chair is:

  • Delivered into your home.
  • Set up where you request.
  • Inspected for shipping damage.
  • Tested to ensure proper functionality.
  • Demonstrated for proper use and maintenance.
  • All packaging materials are removed.

Please note: White Glove Delivery adds an additional 5-7 days to the total delivery time.


Golden Technology Product Shipping:


Free Home Delivery for Golden Technology lift chairs includes standard freight delivery of your new chair to the door (ground-level only). The freight company will call you directly to schedule a convenient time for delivery.

Please Note: If there are any steps leading to your door the trucking will deliver the boxed lift chair curbside. Free Home Delivery does not include set up or removal of packing materials. For these features, please consider White Glove Delivery.
