I have used this model of bath seat for many years. It is not too expensive, it is padded, and it is the commode style which makes it much easier to wash yourself; I am a C5 quad so I sit flat on any seat and cannot lift myself up to wash. What I don't like about it is that the padded seat and back do not last. The seams split open, water gets in, and it starts to smell really bad because all that inside padding has gotten wet. I am only 100 pounds, so it's not getting any weight abuse. The last one I bought the seat split after 5 months. I tried to get it replaced under warranty, but the warranty on the padded seat or back is only 90 days. It is time to replace mine again, so I will once again look for one that is not too expensive, is padded, has a commode seat, and no arms. If you buy this chair, don't count on it lasting much more than a year.
