Same one I've used for over 25 years and I don't change technology well. Cheaper materials used over the years and shower seat blows out at the back as the partial board seat pan breaks or cracks but as I say I don't change technology easily. When the cushion cracks under neath water gets in and it becomes waterlogged. Not pleasant when traveling as it is heavy and leaks along the way.

I love this shower chair. I'm a C6-7 Quad, I have used this same chair for 30 of the 41 1/2 years I've been disabled. The first one I had lasted me over 20 years, but you have to do maintenance, once a month fold the chair, clean off any rust or soap residue, apply a coat of car wax, and buff off. It repels the water, so it Does Not get Rusted Into the Open Position,I spray WD-40 down inside where the frame goes in & out. Replace Bearings when needed, and seats, the chair is almost Indestructible if taken care of. The rice of this chair is a Bargain compared to the Others, just look & compare on this site. Mine was covered through Insurance, but if it Wasn't, I would buy this chair hands down. I take it with on Hunting Trips out of state etc., so I know I have accessible equipment.

This is the only one this 6'3" quad can use because of the extra seat padding, the closed front of the seat, the fully attached armrests. However, the metal does rust and they don't usually last longer than 2 years and they are heavy and expensive. They also don't fold up after you have used them for a few months. I have had trouble with the swing away footrests not locking in to place without some juggling. But haven't found an alternative that works for me.
